A SS Card

Awhile back I made this card for my Secret Sister on Fiskateers. I didn't want to post it so I wouldn't give myself away, you know? So here it is, at long last.

2 Cards & 2 LOs......

No sketches, just creating. Two cards for a welcome party coming up in a couple weeks, thought I'd better get on it. And two LOs from some old pics when I was a teenager.

A Couple More....

I've just been in "the mood" today. So I've been spending the majority of my day downstairs crafting and working on the Creative Scrappers sketches.

Princess

For sketch #17 on Creative Scrappers.

Bad Cat

I totally forgot to post this when I received it. This was the gorgeous altered composition book that Angi made for me. AND she threw in a couple little gifts that she knew I'd love. I'm still designing the necklace to put the owl pendant on. I haven't beaded in awhile now....I have to get back to it!

You Make Me Laugh

Here's a quick layout I did tonight. Everything except the stickles and transparency were from a monthly kit. First time for me to print on a transparency!

The journaling says,
"Ellie,
I haven't even met you in real life yet, and you just turned one. But whenever I see a picture of you, you always have some sort of silly face or expression. I can see where you get your looks from, there's no doubt in your geneology. You are definitely Amanda and Joel's baby. And you can already make me laugh. Ellie 2008"

Felt Bird Tag

For my Fiskateer SS back in April, May and June I was to make a tag with a hint to my identity. Here's the front of it. Hand cut from felt bird. I used up some scraps to cover a tag I cut from cardboard packaging and some scrap hemp and rickrack. The wing is a Prima Whispers Wing.

St. Paul Crop

Now that it's been a month tomorrow, I had better finally get these pictures up! It was such a pleasure to meet Amy Brinkman from Cloud 9 and better learn the history of the company. I also got to meet Dee (Dee's Garden) and Brittany (Brittany's Castle). I didn't get a picture, I figured that would be weird? I never knew how Cloud 9 was started, inspired, or ran. Or that it was founded in good ol' MINNESOTA! I won this prize from Amy. Thanks!

Then I hung out and walked thru the glorious Scrapbook Shop of St. Paul. Oh, how I love it so. I got to meet Rhonda and....Mary? Hmmmm, that doesn't sound right. I even walked over to Little Caesars and got "Mary" and I some food. Exciting stuff I tell you!

On to the crop! It was grand old time. I had such a nice time getting to know Lisa, a fellow Fiskateer, and getting help from her. I talked a lot with May, and the other girls, too. I had made tags to give to everyone and also made little goody boxes for each girl. They were a hit, if I do say so myself! Rhonda got supper from the corner restaurant. DELICIOUS salads! Oh my, I will eat there again!

Well, here's some stuff I did that weekend:

This one is of my Grandma. I still have to think of a title, and get the story from her, but I wanted to do this gorgeous picture of my Grandma Susan!

I got a lot done on this book...my first "word" book. It's Basic Grey papers and some other random findings...I still have other pictures to put in it, obviously.

Oh, and the prizes! Some of it was from our crop fees, some from drawings, some from May filling up the bags, some even from the other girls! I can't say it enough, Fiskars is a great brand that just emulates that they care about their customers! (Not a plug, or a brown nosing comment, a true fact!)
