Thanks For Letting Us Drop In

Last week when my Dad was visiting, we went to lunch and then stopped a few places...including dropping in on my coworker friend, Ginny, and B&B owner friend, Bobbi. Unannounced! Well, I called Ginny from her driveway. I knew Bobbi's place was probably full, and therefore home. :-) I was right on both counts. To show my appreciation, I made them each a card today. Can you see the blog title in the orange "smoke"?

Falling More and More in Love

The last week of the Great Ribbon Rave! Wow, I know I keep saying it, but these past six weeks have FLOWN by!

Here's the rules:
"POETRY IN MOTION

1. Create a layout depicting MOTION any way you want (title, photo, embellishments...totally up to you!!). Here are some definitions of motion
Quote:
The act, process, or state of changing place or position; movement; the passing of a body from one place or position to another, whether voluntary or involuntary; -- opposed to rest.

Quote:
Movement of the mind, desires, or passions; mental act, or impulse to any action; internal activity.

Motion can be physical, emotional, whatever you interpret it to be.

2. Use a one of the quotes below to inspire your page and include it in a handwritten way on your page

Quote:
Allow motion to equal emotion. ~ Elbert Hubbard

Quote:
Growth, in some curious way, I suspect, depends on being always in motion just a little bit, one way or another. ~
Norman Mailer

Quote:
The first step binds one to the second. ~French Proverb

Quote:
“Our nature consist in motion; complete rest is death.” ~ Blaise Pascal

Quote:
Action is eloquence. ~William Shakespeare

Quote:
Everyone who's serious about what they're doing must be in constant motion forward. ~
Ed O'Brien

3. Use ribbon on your layout in a creative way. Let us know in your gallery description how you used your ribbon."

And this is my LO!

Wow. We're already on week #5 of the Great Ribbon Rave over at Savvy n Sassy! This week's requirements were to use a weaving technique, have three patterned papers, three flowers, three circles and chipboard. Here is what I created:

Kadryn

Here's for week #4 of the Great Ribbon Rave! Man, this has been zipping by! This week it was with a theme of "shabby" and must use a b/w or sepia picture.

Silly Secret

Here's my submission for week #3 of the Great Ribbon Rave. Rules were to make flowers out of ribbon and have it be about a secret...serious or not so serious. :-)
